Joy Smith
Joy, a graduate of Texas A&M University’s Construction Science program, founded the company to fulfill the needs of financial institutions in regard to real estate and construction lending. She has over 25 years, of experience in construction loan consulting and reporting that benefit the lender/owner and reduce the risk associated with projects during all phases of construction including. Prior to Seigga Group, she worked for national construction consulting firms providing services for lenders and other real estate clientele. Project experience ranges from commercial office buildings, distribution centers, restaurants, multi-family, retail centers, healthcare facilities, and land developments throughout the United States. As CEO/President, Joy is still very involved in the day to day projects as well as the company growth and management.

Matt Smith
With more than twenty-five years in the construction and real estate industry, Matt has had the opportunity to be involved in all aspects of a project. Managing projects from inception to completion for a wide spectrum of project types, has allowed Matt to progress into the leader he is today. This unique climb has given him an important perspective on how to be a servant leader to others and ensure the organization maintains a “relationship first” mentality. Matt is a graduate of the Texas A&M University Construction Science Program. He also received his Masters in Business Administration from Regis University. As a managing partner at Seigga Group, Matt oversees the day-to-day operations, involved in projects, company initiatives, and company growth.

Paul Byrne
Paul joined our team in 2026 and brings twenty five years of experience. His career began after he earned his degree in Construction Science from Texas A&M in 2002. He has since built a portfolio of roles in construction and real estate development. As VP of Construction at Cielo Property Group, he led the efforts on a range of high-profile projects—each contributing to the company’s reputation for excellence.
His hands-on approach to leadership and deep expertise in construction have made him a trusted professional in the industry. He is passionate about mentoring teams, creating
environments that foster mutual respect, and guiding projects to successful completion.
Senior Lead Auditor
Patty Kugel
Patty Kugel joined our team in 2022 as a lead Project Auditor at Seigga Group. Prior to Seigga, she worked for Northwestern Mutual in the Atlanta, Georgia field office for 35 years in auditing commercial construction draw requests received from their partners and borrowers. Patty brings extensive experience to our team and her meticulous excellence is one of the best in the business.

Dave Grams
Dave joined our team in 2021 as a certified Project Manager. Dave brings over fifteen years of management experience with projects ranging in size and scope. He holds a degree in Mechanical Engineering from Texas A&M University and a Project Management Professional certification from PMI, as well as a certified property inspector. His experience and knowledge is invaluable to our team.

Erica Webb
Erica joined our team in 2023 as Executive Assistant and Office Manager at Seigga Group. She keeps everyone on track and we couldn’t survive without her. With nearly 30 years of experience enhancing executive productivity and improving business operations, she helps assist everyone to maximize their performance and exceed expectations.
